Digital Tattoos?
Digital tattoo
I still havent decided wether this is awesome because I love technology, or stupid is hell because I love my way of tattoos.

Space Bunnies, Baconstaches And Karate Kids
So, before I'm a tattoo artist, I'm a mom. My son is in karate, and his oversized gi needed his name on the back. So, I go get some iron-on letters, and put them on his gi. Now, I'm supposed to be an artist. How hard is it to get irn-on letters on fabric? Apparently, it doesn't work for me. I put his name on so crooked it looks like a politician. But hey, I couldn't get my son to stop moving.
(That was a joke there, son.)
And, since this is a tattoo blog, how about another tattoo?
We have an apprentice at the shop, named Bacon. He was named by my six year old daughter when she walked up to him one day and said "You smell like bacon. Carry me Bacon!" and when he said something to her, she yelled "Talking bacon?!?!" and ran. So, I have called him Bacon ever since, and told him the other day that he was getting a bacon tattoo. He just needed to tell me where. So, he came up with this little gem.

Best tattoo I did all day.
Another fun one I started the other day was the Space Bunny. This was the girl's first tattoo, and, after my own heart, decided 'go big or go home'. Here you go.

I'm going to go back into it after it heals, smooth out the background and put some darker tones in it. I can't wait to finish it.

The Picture I Promised
I finally got my computer up and running, after a couple of down days. The last post was from my phone, which explains the horrible typos. Heh, never doing THAT again, lol. Anyways, here's the picture I promised.

Always Have Your Camera
So, I had a customer come in a couple weeks ago, he originally wanted more tribal. #ribal is the bane of my existence,.so he said "well, how about a bull? I wanted one eventually anyways." So, I draw out this bull, he says hell yeah, and i sit on his tattoo for 5 hours. I finish, and go to grab my camera from my toolbox. Didn't bring it. So he says he'll come back tomorrow, so I can get a picture. I wait all day the next day, he never showed up. For three weeks I hoped heZd come back. Finally, the day after I gave up, he walks in. Apparently, he was military, in training, and one kid decided to smoke and sell meth on base, which resulted in a lockdown. But, he came back the day he got offbase privilidges back. So I got my pictures. I'll post them later tonight or tomorrow.
Moral of the story? Keep your camera with you.

Finally have a bit of Time on my hands...
Shit's been crazy lately. The shop opened, as I stated, and we've been fucking BUSY. I love it. I get to tattoo custom artwork, no flash, I'm getting a nice little customer base, and I'm having fun. Here's some more recent stuff:

Add the fact that I got married to a wonderfully handsome, crazy and sweet guy, who takes care of my kids as if they are his own, my kids are progressing mentally faster than most kids their age, and they are body active, happy and healthy. Life is fucking nice.

Back In Business
I hadn't tattooed in 4 months. Would I suck? Did I unlearn everything? Or would it be like riding a bike?
My hands took over, my brain didn't stop them. Yes, it's a simple, cliche tattoo, but I gave not one fuck. I felt good, better than good. Tattooing is like crack to me, even the tiniest bit makes me feel so much better. It's the worst addiction I have, and the only one I have absolutely no intention of ever breaking. I love this addiction, and look foreward to it every day.

The Time Is almost Here...
After a 4 month hiatus, and after losing all machines, equipment and supplies, all I need is for my inks to get here. That's tomorrow. The shop is almost open (FreakShow Tattoos, San Antonio TX), my card design is almost finished, just need to color the thing, and I'm starting my new flash set. Maybe I'll put out a sketchbook soon as well. Four months of no tattooing....in a way I think it was good for me. It gave me time to play with my kids, sit down and draw, focus on some things that needed attention. Now my brain is working again, and the drawings are flowing out easier.

Police Brutality? No.
"Another shocking example of police brutality has been caught on camera showing a cop nearly breaking a girl's arm, punching her and then pepper spraying her in the face as she cries after being arrested for violating a city curfew."
Source
Man, my dad's a cop. I hear all about it from both points of view. I swing one way or the other depending on facts. He did not almost break her arm. He didn't even come close. She's just a crybaby 15 year old punk ass kid that figures she's always rght, and when she's not, it's not her fault. If that was my kid, I would have picked her up, taken her home, and beat her ass myself. If I was him, and some punk kid that I was exceedingly patient with bit ME, I would have fucking hurt her. She's fucking lucky, that bite (assault) could have made him jerk back in a way that he snapped her wrist on accident with the cuffs.

She's Alive!
So. Here we are again eh? Been awhile, hasn't it? Over a year. Wow. The things that have changed. I moved again, back to ol' San Antonio, TX. I'm getting married, to an awesome, intelligent, and completely, utterly handsome man, I've learned to tattoo, and I actually have some people noticing me.
I am no longer faceless. I exist, for more people than I thought I could a year ago, and I feel good. I have improved; as a person, in my art, all around. I'll tell you more about it, but not right now. Right now, I'm going to draw. Here, have a pretty picture.

Beef Stew
I made this up last night, and I may tweak it at some point, but it was DAMN good, even better the next day.
2 pounds cubed stew meat
1 can family size tomato soup
3 cups water (more or less, whatever your preferred thickness is)
2 tablespoons honey mustard
2 tablespoons crushed garlic (fresh)
6 med. or 5 large potatos (diced)
4 large carrots (cut up)
2 tblsp cilantro
2 tblsp basil
2 tblsp parsley
salt and pepper to taste
In one large pot, combine everything except the meat. bring to a boil, reduce to simmering. While doing this, brown the stew meat over a medium heat (no spices, no oil, nothing, if its good meat it will make its own liquid). You need not worry about it being completely cooked, just browned nicely. Add the stew meat to the boiling soup mix, including all the juices it produces. Cover, simmer for about an hour, or whenever its as thick as you want it and the veggies are cooked. We ate it served with biscuits, and it was damn tasty.

Jobs Rock.
So, apparently my custom tattoo designs are good enough that Inked Studios out of San Francisco came knocking at my proverbial door the other day, asking if I would like to work for them at $20 an hour. Doing that until I become proficient enough with a needle to ink my designs myself will be a nifty little endeavor.
Apparently, they had seen my DeviantArt account and liked what they saw. I love the fact that my work is getting out there, being seen, and people are liking it enough that they want to buy it, and put it on their skin. Nothing satisfies me more than seeing a good ink job, done with my art.

Washington State
So I have moved out of Florida, and now reside near Mt. Reinier in Washington. It is beautiful here, and is giving me a lot of inspiration for new art. Check out my new stuff: My DeviantArt account

Ah, commisions.
I have just gotten my first commision for a custom tattoo. A friend of my sisters is going to pay me to do a custom tattoo design for here. I do believe i shall go get on that while it is fresh in my mind.

McDonald's getting sued again.
GASTONIA, North Carolina (AP) -- A woman who said she found blood smeared inside her container of french fries is suing McDonald's Corp. for at least $10,000.

Americans. We are so sue happy. If I break my foot breaking into someone's house, while I stealing their personal valuables, then I am entitled to have them pay for not only my medical bills, but my pain and suffering. While I can slightly understand why this lady went to the doctor, couldn't she have asked the manager at that McDonalds to inquire about any major health issues that employee could have, and then take a bloodtest? Oh, no, privacy. If the manager had done that, then the employee would be suing for millions right now. Why does anything that happens to people in our countries have to end with a lawsuit, instead of two people getting together and figuring out a way to come to terms themselves? I am so tired of these commercials on television exploiting this new American fad, "Did someone have a complete accident in their car that had absolutly nothing to do with you, but you saw it and now your neck hurts? Let us help you sue them!" Ah, when will good old fasion 'Let's settle this ourselves' happen again?

I pledge allegiance, to my lawyer...
Prostitutes call for ban on GTA
Sex workers cry foul, say game "accrues points to players for the depiction of rape and murder of prostitutes."
The Grand Theft Auto franchise is getting attacked from all angles. Joining the ranks of politicians, policemen, and attorneys in their crusade to see the game lifted from shelves are the nation's sex workers. On its Web site, the Sex Workers Outreach Project USA is asking parents to assist them in calling for a ban of Take-Two Interactive's controversial game.
Source
What is with this? I don't really like the game anyways, but shouldn't parents be monitoring what their children can and cannot do? Why is everyone so up in arms about a game? I have played violent games, and watched violent cartoons most of my life, and still do, but I am not about to go kill a hooker. Why can't people accept that video games don't kill people, guns don't kill people, but people who have not been raised right, and haven't been taught the right morals DO kill people. Oh and Chuck Norris.

Anti-emo, it comes easily...
I am anti-emo. Most of the people i have to deal with all day at my real job are little whiney, crybaby "I cut myself for fun" kids, that are so depressed....
because mommy and/or daddy won't buy them a Jetta.
Anyways, i do anti-emo artwork for shits and giggles so much, and i just recently finished one that just screamed t-shirt. So this happened. Already it seems to be selling well, and i hope it stays that way. I have had so many run-ins with the crybabies, that emo art is just the most fun thing i draw. Back to the drawing board, quite literally.
